History

Richard Ding Sports has evolved from R D Plant and Agricultural Engineers – specialists in all aspects of Cricket Club mower/roller repairs and servicing with over 25 years’ experience of providing a fast cost effective service to Cricket Clubs throughout the Midlands.

 

Richard Ding is the proprietor and has a wealth of knowledge and skills to facilitate the following:

  • Servicing and Repairs on-site or off-site for all mowers and rollers

  • Cylinder Grinding

  • Full overhaul mowers/wicket rollers

  • Fully conversant diesel/petrol engines

  • Fully conversant hydraulics/electrics

  • On site welding fabrication

  • Official Certified in Commercial Leading Brands

 

Richard is also contracted to Worcestershire County Cricket Club to service and maintain their machinery.  He also assists Tim Packwood – Head Groundsman WCCC on renovation work to the main cricket square and outfield.

With his team of local club groundsmen from South Worcestershire he completed end of season renovation work at several recreational cricket clubs and comes highly recommended for the standard of work undertaken during 2021 season.
